I’m sitting looking out over the beach in Qui Nhon as I watch this, watching fishing boats. We’re about to go visit some places around here. It’s really a lovely place. Actually, one of the cham towers you got a vid of is just near my gf’s village. Interesting: same place, very different experiences.

I was with the 19th S&S, Graves Registration Platoon in Qui Nhon for a short period of time and then detailed with the 173rd Airborne, LZ English outside Bong Son in 1969. Many times I would make the drive to Qui Nhon to bring our soldiers to the GR mortuary and then on to Saigon by a C130 cargo plane. Other times I was able to get a direct flight from the LZ to Saigon.
